Featured in Kii Minpo

We are delighted to announce that our Kumano-focused travel app, LOCAL FIT KUMANO, has been featured in the local newspaper Kii Minpo.

It is a great honor to have our initiative introduced by Kii Minpo, a publication that consistently delivers community-rooted news. We hope this coverage will serve as an opportunity for local residents and future visitors to Kumano alike to discover our app.

What You Can Do with 'LOCAL FIT KUMANO'

'LOCAL FIT KUMANO' is a travel app that delivers up-to-date, locally rooted information to travelers exploring the Kumano area. Its main features include:

• Area-focused travel information: Discover the highlights of the Kumano region in one place, including the Kumano Sanzan, the Kumano Kodo, and the areas of Tanabe, Shingu, and Nachikatsuura.
• Local restaurants and spots: We feature community-based shops and experiences that don't always make it into guidebooks, encouraging visitors to explore the region more deeply.
• Model courses and route suggestions: We suggest itineraries tailored to your stay length and interests, so even first-time visitors can enjoy Kumano with confidence.
• Regularly updated information: We share timely updates on seasonal events and local conditions—useful both before and during your trip.

Our Company's Future Initiatives

With the mission of 'conveying the charm of Kumano accurately, deeply, and enjoyably,' we are pursuing the following initiatives:

1. Strengthening partnerships with local businesses
We work together with restaurants, accommodations, experience operators, local governments, and others active in the region, sharing information that reflects voices from the ground.
2. Expanding our content
We continue to produce feature articles and interviews on Kumano's history, culture, nature, and food, expanding the range of reading material to enjoy before and after your trip.
3. Exploring multilingual support and inbound tourism assistance
For international travelers visiting the World Heritage-listed Kumano Kodo, we are exploring more user-friendly ways to provide information.
4. Contributing to regional challenges
Through our position as both a media outlet and an app, we aim to contribute to revitalizing the local economy through tourism and to building a sustainable tourist destination.

We Will Continue to Share the Charm of Kumano

Greatly encouraged by this feature in Kii Minpo, we will continue to carefully explore the appeal of the Kumano area and strive to build a platform that benefits both local residents and visitors.

We hope that 'LOCAL FIT KUMANO' will spark many new encounters with Kumano. Thank you for your continued support.
